In need of some blogger help - Foundations
So, I am thinking of buying a new foundation and was wondering what you had tried, what ones you recommend.
I am looking for a low to medium coverage, something that is quite light on the face and doesn't take too much hassle to apply (easy to wear at school). I am not looking to spend an awful lot so something along the lines of about £10.
Could you leave you recommendations below in the comments, and perhaps if you have done a review, could you link it.
Many Thanks
Emily

February Empties
Tea Tree Face Wipes
Just some standard face wipes, I usually have the fragrance free ones but on one trip to Wilkos, which I didn't attend my Dad/Mum got these instead. They smelt a little bit on the weird side, not a scent that I would be able to to pin point though.
Repurchase? No
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Yes, I know you are all probably wondering why I have the old packaged version of the snow fairy. I was planning on metering it out through 2012 and hoping to pick one up before the stock all went at the begnning of this year. But they were all gone by the time I went. This is a lovely sweet shower gel and is one of my faves from lush.
Repurchase? Yes, when they are back in stock
Lime Shower Creme
I absolutely loved this, it was super fruity and tangy. It really freshened up my shower and was also quite moisturising.
Repurchase? A definite yes!
St Ives Face Scrub (Invigorating)
This is a lovely face scrub, it makes your skin feel about better and smells lovely.
Repurchase? Yep!
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle
Perhaps one of the late ones on the bandwagon. I can see why people love it so much. It makes your hair feel and smell amazing.
Repurchase? Yes.
Nivea Hydration Primer
I have wanted to try this for a while now. It applies really nicely and doesn't take too long to sink in. It kept my make-up on quite well.
Repurchase? I would be more than happy to!
Dermatologica daily resurfacer
It is a dinky little mitt which you pop on your finger and rub on your face in circle motions. It was a really nice product to use but not something I would rush out and buy.
Repurchase? Nope.
(not photographed but something I did use up)
I have mentioned this many times before on my blog, I love alberto balsam hair range. This is by far my favorite it is so fruity and leaves your hair smelling amazing and feeling squeaky clean!
Repurchase? Of course!
What have you used up this month?

A Moisture Mix
Recently, my skin has been a little dry and what product I have been using with my day to day moisturiser is by Simple. It is the 'intensive relief cream' this is targeted for people who have dry, sensitive, eczema and dermatitis. On occasional I have three out of the four of those. I have never had dematitis.
I bought the pure moisturiser when my Simple Hydrating one ran out, I regret not buying two of the simple ones so I had a back up. It is a little bit on the siliconey side, it is almost like you have got a face mask on. So it takes a while for it to sink in. But apart from that it is a pretty decent moisturiser. The simple relief cream just loosens it up a little a makes it much easier to sink in.

Lazy Day Make-up
Sometimes, I don't fancy putting on eye shadow blusher, or a heavy foundation. Perhaps it is a day when I am not doing much or just popping down to the shops. These are the items I use on those 'Lazy Make-up Days'. First after applying my moisturiser, I use my miss sporty 'so perfect' concealer under my eyes and on any outstanding blemishes I also add a little bit of my natural collection concealer on top as the miss sporty one is a little on the darker side for my skin tone. After rubbing that in (sometimes with my finger or on others I use my elf stipple brush) I squeeze a pea sized amount of the natural collection foundation on to the back of my hand, I use my stipple brush to blend this in, taking care to blend it into the neck, to avoid those horrible foundation lines. Now onto eyes, my personal favorite for giving your lashes a little something but with not a lot of drama. It adds a great colour, gives them just enough volume and length without going overboard. Last but by no means least, lips. I have been using this constantly after buying it, it adds a lovely nudey pink to your lips, which I love.
What products do you like to wear when you are having 'A Lazy Make-up Day'?

DIY: How to re-vamp shoe boxes with old magazines
I am quite a creative person, like to be doing arts and crafts. I had collected quite a few magazines for example: Glamour, Boots Magazines, Dare (Superdrug), Jack Wills and Lush. If you saw in my "Where I blog from" post, on my desk is a post which is created from old newspapers. I thought I would do the same to this box, but add a beauty touch to it using some of the old magazines.
The top/lid of the shoe box was quite dark, and when you laid the newspaper squares on it, you could see the box underneath. I got some lining paper (heavy wight paper which is un-sized), cut that into squares and glued them with PVA all over the box. Next I let that dry for a couple of minutes.
Whilst it was drying, I cut out squares of interesting clippings, some of the newspaper titles were inverted. I really liked the effect/contrast of the different styles. So I stuck those on.
I flicked through some of the magazines and found some interesting pictures, soap and glory, real techniques brushes, candy mountain from lush, lots of Barry M nail polishes, perfume, Aussie and lots of words. For example, 'Nailed!' I thought this really suited the box, since it contains all my nail polishes, nail brushes, dotting tools etc..'Sparkle' was a nice one too as I like my glitter polishes.
I really liked the outcome of this craft and want to add other pictures to it when I see them in certain magazines. This is a great way to use up old magazines that are lying around collecting dust and are pleading for a good use, rather than being dumped in the paper wast bin.
Hope you enjoyed this long awaited DIY post, please tell me if you do it and send me a picture, I would love to see what you have created! :)

Room Thoughts
Recently, I have been more into home ware, I fancy like getting some more pieces for my room. These are some of my favorites. As you can see, I love floral and seaside themed items.
You can find homeware pieces in departments stores such as Dunelm Mill (which I haven't been to, but want to go sometime soon), sometimes TK Maxx stock nice homeware, B&Q and many more.
The little white bedside table with the rose handles is something that is top of my list as I don't have one. The reason being that my bed is near the door and there isn't much space for a table.
Something that interests me, is the gummy bear lamp, it is a piece which is quite quirky but not too tacky.
I really love the idea of the bird house type of storage, this might be nice to pop little tea lights in or somewhere to store you bracelets or some others type of jewelry.
I don't know why but I also love the idea of having little lights around the room or bunting, I think it adds a cute and titch touch.
I think that canvases or photos are super nice, I especially like the 'keep calm and carry on' (with other variations).
What pieces do you like in your room?
